Marian Marinov: Comparison of eBPF, XDP and DPDK for packet inspection
Comparison of eBPF, XDP and DPDK for packet inspection
Mitigating DoS and DDoS attacks in any environment is not easy. SiteGround needed a solution that can be applied in any DataCenter in the world. So, they decided to build a Linux VM that must be able to provide 10Gbps traffic scrubbing service, with at least 1M pps capability.
In this presentation you will see the performance tests from eBPF, XDP and DPDK for scrubbing DoS/DDoS attacks.
You will also find out, how to combine multiple such VMs to handle hundreds of gigabits of traffic.
