For past several years several companies announced opensource smartphones with completely opensource stack based on mainline Linux. Currently there are two projects which are close than others to release: Purism Librem 5 and Pine PinePhone. Development team of Aurora OS (Sailfish Mobile OS RUS) closely watch for this trend. In the session we consider key features of opensource projects, their status, tell about our experience of adaptation Aurora OS fot PinePhone and our view on perspectives of opensource hardware.
